What storyline did you hate the most?

While I loved most of what's happened on the show, there are a few things I just loathed... Such as, for example, Ted's plastic surgery storyline, or that girl who was working at the diner and hitting on Debbie. Whatever!

I think the Loretta storyline didn't bring anything either... It didn't develop the Debbie character because we knew she was straight...
The plastic surgery storyline showed how much desperate Ted was, though! But yeah, I didn't agree with it either!

The most hated storyline was the "Pink Posse" Stuff in the beginning of S4 D:

I know that most people think it was a important milestone in Justins Life but in my eyes he should have been smarter and already stronger than to fall for this sh**.

I think it was important in the development of his character because it showed us a different aspect of him: the violent part. I don't really like it either, because it's just NOT Justin!! But hey, we got the chair!sex because of it so...

It wasn't really the most inspired storyline, but it did sound promising. They didn't really do anything about it, and that was a bit stupid (although he did get to point a gun at Chris Hobbs, which is always nice).

That scene with Chris Hobbs was SO powerful!! Such a wonderful acting from Randy and Alec McClure!!!

Because he was just a liar!!! Brian's always been honest and you know that you see is what you get. Ethan wasn't like that at all and well, look where it got Justin !

^ There's that, and the fact that the moment I saw him I knew he was a manipulative weasel, as well as a pretentious prick.
Well, okay, Brian can be both of those things, but he doesn't do it in such a disgusting way. >_>

okay, i hated ted's crystal queen storyline...but not cuz i think it didn't fit. i hated it cuz it was so HARD to watch! gawd, it broke my heart!

but something i did hate, and i thought was a bit rediculus, was all those potential partners that they seemed to throw at ted at the end of S5. of course it's all after ted's surgery and stuff....but to me it seemed like they didn't exactly know what to do with him. same with debbie really. grrr, i just hate all of S5, period!

The one character I could never stand was Blake. And the fact that they kept throwing him back in again and again and again didn't help either.

I disliked the crystal-meth Ted storyline, although the acting by Ted was amazing. I also disliked Loretta and the JR custody battle made me angry because everyone was so OOC and made fans take sides which is never a good thing. Ethan didn't bother me that much because I always believed that Justin had to do that to see what he had with Brian and he was still young. The Lindsay/Sam storyline, although ok, Sam was not someone I thought a rather uptight/straightlaced Lindsay would go for. I didn't like that 'bug chaser' storyline with Ben and Michael at all. It was also very OOC for Ben.

There's probably more.....

One character I never managed to love was Hunter.

oh really? at the beginning i hated him too...but towards the end i fell in love....well, a little, since the most space of my heart was/is occupied by justin ^^

That's a shame. He had such a hard life before he was lucky enough to find Ben and Michael and he brought so much into their life, giving them the family they both wanted.

Apart from Brian and Justin, who do you like?

Emmett, Ben, Michael.

I mean, it's not like I DISLIKE Hunter, but for me, he just never fit in with the rest of the cast (though I thought him being positive and the swimming pool scene was extremely moving).

The first time I watched the series, I didn't like Hunter at all. But when I re-watched the series later, I loved him. Same with Vic. I guess when you watch it again, you see things that you missed the first time around.

The way she treated Ben when she found out he was positive and the way she treated Michael after all of her 'you should love someone who's positive more if you ask me' crap. Obviously she doesnt practice what she preaches. The way she spoke to Vic, telling him she didnt want Michael 'ending up like you'. How fucking thoughtless can you be.
The way she dismissed Michael when he told her he loved Ben and the interogation of Ben at dinner, but of course Ben being the gentleman he is, accepted it.

The fact that she lied to Michael about his father. Fine, she didnt want anything to do with him, thats her choice, but Michael should have been allowed to make his own decision. Another reason why family is so important to Michael I believe.

The way she told Ben to shut up in his own home in 404, how rude is that.

The way she makes everything about her. Case in point, the custody battle arc and when Ben and Michael are at her home talking about going for custody of JR. She turns it into her raising Michael as a single mother. Neither of them said anything about that, she just twisted it to suit herself.

The way she wouldnt give Ben any time alone with Michael after the bombing. You could see how pissed off Ben was and she should have been much more thoughtful.

The way she had to mention at all times to Vic that she looked after him etc. As Vic said 'I thought you did it for me', and she did to a certain degree but she also continually talked about it to show how wonderful she is.

There are more but I will stop there.

I just find her overbearing and self centered to the extreme. Yes, I know, she would do anything for the gang but in the end, it was all about her.

I always like them both but I agree that each time you watch it, you see something new and look at certain things in a different way. I guess that's one of the reasons why I personally, never tire of re watching it.
